The following excerpt from my book "Hispanic American Literature" was written by Dennis Chavez (Lopez 251), currently professor at New Mexico State University. In 1970, Chavez received the Best Drama Award in her drama "Waiting" at New Mexico State University. Chavez is always blessed with the dreams of all playwrights and her 17 theatrical plays are held in the United States and other countries. Chavez has a master's degree in theatrical arts and a master's degree in creative writing. The former was obtained from the University of San Antonio in San Antonio, New Mexico University. Chavez also had the privilege of publishing two novels: the last of Menu Girls (published in 1986) and Face on an Angel (published in 1994). One example is farm worker, worker leader, and civil rights activist Cesar Chavez (Koo - Byoung, parameter 2). Cesar is known for establishing the National Farm Workers Association. He supports the American labor movement. It aims to protest workers' unfair labor treatment. Chávez completed several people who seem to be almost impossible to work on the land without land.
