Art History: Renaissance Filippo Brunelleschi was one of Renaissance's greatest sculptors and architects. His architectural accomplishment includes not only during the Renaissance but also today some of the most famous and impressive buildings. Not only was his structure wonderful, he invented new technology to build his structure in his era. What happens if Brunelleschi has never designed a building? Filippo Brunelleschi born in Brunellesco di Rippo in 1377 is famous as a renowned architect and engineer of the Italian Renaissance. His education focuses primarily on mathematics and literature, but Brunelleschi's interest is more inclined to artistic careers. I joined Arte Della Seta (Silk Merchants Guild) in 1398 and became a master of goldsmiths.
