The 2012 SF science fantasy movie "Prometheus" by Ridley Scott is related to myths mainly through matching of names. In the three major mythological themes related to Prometheus mythology - eternal punishment, fire theft, and human creation - this movie seems to focus at least partially on the last topic at least.
