When arriving in the Americas, crews of slave ships were ready to sell Africans. They are washed, shaved and wiped with palm oil to cover the wounds and the wounds due to conditions inside the ship. Columbus Day is controversial that Christopher Columbus arrived in the United States on 12th October 1492. The cruel behavior of Columbus is thought to have enslaved people upon arrival and imposed severe punishment including torture. His arrival also brought European colonists to the Americas where they fought war with Native Americans and brought illness with sustained catastrophic effects.
