Arrival (2016)

ARRIVAL provides more levels than can be expressed without spoiler. Since there is this book, if you need to know before watching a movie, please read "Your Life Story" by Ted Chiang. However, I strongly recommend you to watch a movie first. Honestly. You want it to melt in your mouth, showing you warmth, fresh croissants on a cold morning

Until unexpected results carefully written by Johann Johansson from a visually exciting scene, you immediately recognize that this is a thinking movie you will always remember.

In particular, the scene features clouds that will surprise me. Of course the alien rides are wonderful, but that cloud ... as a photojournalist nearly 50 years ago, I was shocked by the real cloud looking character, I thought that was not a reality, but I thought it was possible. You can not remind nature when scrolling. I would like to praise the results to the CGI team, but Shawn Levy confirms this is natural. They began to take this wide shot, worried about coming rain or too strong winds, or the lights were too dark to produce correct results, but clouds wanted to be a star of the day, And it entered the frame in absolutely perfect way. It is worth paying respect to Bradford Young for best photography.

Amy Adams' performance is amazing. Science fiction was largely ignored when the award was awarded, but if the university ignored the recognition of Adams' work in the movie, I may resist them forever. Adyl was awarded Oscar with his role as a linguist, his best actress as Dr. Lewis Banks.

Star deserves the top ten of ARRIVAL. I hope that box office revenue is very successful, so this team will continue to make more films of this level.

Villeneuve's outstanding performance in mainstream began with Incendies (2010), and recent arrival (2016) recommended by Oscar. The SF fear of the (potential) alien invasion eventually became more serious and meditative than expected. And that was the tone the director moved to Blade Runner 2049. Well, it used a similar tone. Another related film of Villeneuve's film photo is Sicario (2015). Some scenes of Blade Runner 2049 are reminiscent of the terrible desert of Mexico. Greek composer Vangelis's original synthesizer (with original score) is now prepared by Hans Jimmer and Benjamin Wallfish. The director explained that he decided to remove Jóhann Jóhannsson, a longtime co-producer, from the project.

The last two movies supervised by Dennis Villeneuve, Sicario (2015) and Arrival (2016) occupy less and less space in Hollywood. Though they are for viewing and entertainment, they are not for big movies; they have no restrictions on genre or global attraction. They are not part of the "movie world" and they do not have any spandex at all. First of all, Sicario and Arrival depend entirely on their heroine. There are many interesting support characters, but neither movie is an ensemble - emotional bets are not shared. The possibility of ventilation is entirely in the hands of women. In any case, the audience should worry, this should not be worth noting, but it definitely deserves attention.
