Aristotle’s Elements of Tragedy

Aristotle is one of the most important Western philosophers in history and has had various influences on our society. Many of Aristotle's teachings have influenced our world for many years and continue to give such a big influence. The themes affected by Aristotle include logic, physics, government, and poetry. Aristotle's poetry study focuses on elements of tragedy. Some of his elements have been used in Greek tragedies and modern movies. The Greek drama "Medea" and the contemporary film "The Man of the State" use similar techniques while using Aristotle's philosophical elements, but none have achieved an effective tragedy.

In Othello of Shakespeare, Othello follows the elements of Aristotle's six tragedies and can therefore be regarded as a tragic hero.
