Aristotle Aristotle was born in St. Gallen in Macedonia in 384 BC, the son of a Royal Court doctor. At the age of 17, he visited Athens to study at Plato University. As a student, then as a teacher, he was there for about 20 years. When Plato died in 347 BC, Aristotle moved to Assos, Small Asia, to advise ruler Elmias. After Elmias was caught and executed by the Persians in 345 BC, Aristotle went to Pera in the capital of Macedonia. So he became a mentor of a young son Alexander later known as Alexander the Great.

After Aristotle 's father passed away, Proxenus of Atakneus who married Aristotle' s sister Alimunez became a guardian of Aristotle until he became an adult. When Aristotle was 17, Proxenas sent him for higher education to Athens. At the time, Athens was thought to be the academic center of the universe. In Athens, Aristotle learned at Platoon College, the best learning institution in Greece, proved to be a model scholar. Aristotle and Greek philosopher Plato (himself a student of Socrates) and his university have maintained a relationship for 20 years. Plato died in 347 BC.
