My high school has about 4,000 students, the population is as diverse as New York, with ethnic and socio-economic diversity. We have a big racial / ethnic group, there are super wealthy people, super poor people and all the people in between. Therefore, to form a faction there are too many mixings between different groups. In a group of my friends, I am black, my friend is Latin, my best friend is Filipino, and our team has several Indian, Asian, and Caucasian. All the children in the theater, IB / AP students, athletes, band children, thugs, stones all overlap with a group of several interlocking friends on campus. I know someone who is suitable for all categories. Of course there are racists and jerks, but in general, the only point is to have a good time, not any group exclusivity. I hope that our generation brings this attitude to adults and that society will be a really suitable place for everyone.
