Archimedes and hydrodynamic fluid dynamics examines the behavior of liquids and gases in stationary or moving motion. It can be divided into three different areas; hydrostatic studies of static fluids, hydrodynamics of fluids during motion, and hydrodynamics of analytical forces to fluid motion. The second, and especially the third, area is very useful for problem solving and partial resolution. Research on fluid dynamics is very important for engineers and the main concern of engineers is to solve industrial problems in hydrodynamic applications.

Archimedes has built up some very important things. Archimedes set the principles of Archimedes. The principle of Archimedes states that the liquid soaked in the body loses weight. It is equal to the weight of the amount of liquid it replaces. This basically means that an object immersed in fluid is floating with a force equal to the weight of the displaced fluid. This principle applies to both floating body and immersion body. After occupying Syracuse in the Second Poeni War, Archimedes was killed by Roman soldiers.

Syracuse of the time was an independent Greek city state with a history of 500 years. He is the son of Phidias, Greek astronomer and mathematician. All that we know about Archimedes is his ancient manuscripts, ancient historians such as Plutak and Cicero, and for centuries after his death.
