I think that this will give the story more explanation and much more targeted. But when Gotel continued asking Rapunzel for the name of Stephan, Barbie kept the subject matter of pureness and turned it into a mind of justice. Gothel did not buy, but Rapunzel told her the truth. Rapunzel is still a pure heart, as Rapunzel still escapes the last spell of Gottel by keeping it true. The whole story brings out the theme "Truth makes you free". As Rapunzel, Barbie also took Rapunzel to save the evil witch and save the kingdom. This is how many barbie fairy tales seem to strengthen women's perspective, giving women power. This situation is counterproductive when Gotel cuts off the hair of Rapunzel and steals her identity using it.
