The American Archaeological Institute selected the Domus Aurea project as a new cover for articles on Roman Nile Palace.
The Domus Aurea Complex covers a part of the slopes of Palatine, Esquilin, Opian, and Cahria's hills, but the valley of the swamp has an artificial lake, but the estimated size of the Domus Aurea is not so similar, so it is similar. I dig. Some researchers have placed on more than 300 acres (1.2 square kilometers) of land, others estimate that they are less than 100 acres (0.40 square kilometers). Suetonius expresses this complex as "destructive wandering son". That is because it contains bushes, meadows, herds, vineyards, artificial lakes, "villages in the city" in the city.
Still, it is a statement to call these buildings home. They obviously do not stop there. Even the smallest proportion. Domus Aurea itself is a collection of buildings and landscapes that give the impression of a vast park with a relatively small area (Picard 116). The idea behind this is that if your creation is beautiful about how you use the earth, you create better ones for the onlookers. For example, in the heart of Domus Aurea there is a big lake surrounded by a villa and other buildings in order to transcend valuable things, but to give beauty that only nature can give. Suetonius commented on Domus Aurea:
Domus Aurea, one of the most spectacular buildings in the reign of Nero, was built in the place where the fire burned house was. People who insisted that Nero has dismissed began to point out that they have cleaned the urban areas necessary to build the beautiful pavilions and villas of the Domus Aurea series. Today, the Roman historians tend to wonder if Nero is attempting a fire. First of all, they pointed out that Nero actually tried to arrange accommodation on the first night of fire without doing anything. There is also evidence that many of Roman wealthy elites are beginning to condemn the increasingly unstable behavior of Nero, especially as they are hoping to build a golden troll in the city center. This unsatisfactory social part may have spread the rumors and talks of the Roman Fire to destroy the controversial emperor.
