In the early 1980s activists used to raise awareness of violence against women in October and the main focus was domestic violence consciousness. In the late 1980s, the National Aggression Society (NCASA) conducted an informal opinion poll of the National Assault Alliance to determine the priority date of the nationwide invasion awareness week. The week of April was selected. By the end of the 1990s, a number of supporters started adjusting their activities and activities in April and proposed nationally recognized ideas of sexual violence awareness and prevention activities. April is the month of sexual assault. This is a nationwide campaign to raise awareness of the reality of sexual violence in the community. The goal is to discuss what is sexual assault, how to prevent it, and how to support survivors who experienced sexual assault. Half of women (44.6%) and half of men (22.2%) are raped at some stage of life and undergo sexual violence, which is a criminal act and people are often a shameful act. To talk or avoid (or worse, if they choose to share their story they will be hurt, so Sexual Assault Awareness is a tool to challenge this shame is.
