Applying Machiavelli's The Prince to Real Life

Many people try to explain their beliefs in getting power and try to stick to being leaders and rulers. A lot of people tried this method, but many people never explained this as Niccolo Machiavelli did. Machiavelli's reputation is often thought to be based on his work called "Prince". This manual was written to explain how to acquire and maintain political power (Norton Anthology, 182). Machiavelli's view from this article is that this rule is valid even though these methods include fraudulent and violent rulers (Norton Anthology, 182).
