Application Deadlines

Please carefully read the following dates so that the FIT Admissions Office receives all necessary materials by the deadline. Applicants are encouraged to apply immediately after the SUNY application becomes available so that there is enough time to meet the FIT participation requirements.

The SUNY application must be submitted by January 1st in order to obtain the priority of the fall semester.

In order to prioritize the fall semester, all supplements must be received by 1 February. These supplemental requirements include your academic papers, admissions papers, and applicants and portfolios of art and design. In addition, all applicants whose primary language is not English MUST provide an official TOEFL, IELTS or PTE score. It is important to have enough time to satisfy all the entrance requirements

Information on recently accepted students is mailed separately and additional information is provided online. All final transcripts and test results must be submitted by the fall semester of student registration.

All applicants must undergo GRE general examination within 5 years from application deadline and within 5 years from application deadline. The score must be from the examination over the past five years. Please take the exam so that you can catch the score at Stanford University within the application deadline. Self self-assess all scores available in online applications and let ETS immediately report the official score to Stanford.
