The title "From Orange to Apple: Direct comparison between people trying to kill Apple and those who tried to commit suicide" quickly pulled attention of readers. Nonetheless, the title is a bit representative of the article. As this study was conducted in a population of major depressed patients, a more appropriate title for this article should be "Apple versus Orange ?: a direct comparison of suicide attempts and suicide attempts in major depressive patients" . However, not fatal, the proportion of attempted suicide is four times that of women, more common among young people and young people. Suicide is the second most common cause of death among people aged 15 to 34. In the United States, on average 38,000 people died of suicide every year.
Adolescent suicide refers to an intentional end of life by young people (usually classified as people under 21 years of age). The proportion of attempted suicide attempts and completion of young people in Western society and other countries is high. Adolescent suicide attempts are more common among girls, but adolescent men usually commit suicide. From the 1960s to the 1980s, the suicide rate of teenagers almost tripled. For example, in Australia, the main cause of death among people aged 15 to 25 years after a car accident is suicide, and suicide is the third leading cause of death in the United States, according to the National Institute of Mental Health.
