Apple’s ‘Move to iOS’ app gets blasted with 2700 1-star reviews by angry Android users

As part of the iOS 9 release, Apple announced "Move to iOS" Android application yesterday. This simplifies the process of migrating data and applications from Android phone to iPhone. However, after several hours of release, Android users did not make use of Apple's first Android application well (if you discount Beats Music, it existed before Apple got them). The app accumulates more than 2,700 1 star ratings in a few hours available and the average rating of the 9 stars is not so spectacular

There are few people actually using this application to migrate data to the iPhone, but few people use the comment field to solve frustration with Apple instead. These comments are primarily for Android users who complain about iPhone battery life, high price Apple Watch, 'iSheep' etc.

Ben Bartlett: 1 star - Please do not install! Unless you want to resect. truly? Do you think people will move to a restricted ecosystem or do you think you will allow you to try the app before you buy? Why does Google allow them to put this app here? Oh, you are right, you promote innovation, free, or limit it

Marty Ballard: 1 star - a bad feature I tried switching over to ios (obviously a zombie ate my brain), my iPhone 3G does not accept my data. Also, my micro USB is not suitable

Jonathan Perez: 1 star - Dear Apple, I want to download this app and switch to Andos from Android. The only valuable writing instrument was the pencil of Saint Apple, so I burned all the pencils. I needed that golden apple watch so I decided to sell one of my kidneys. And now, I have to have iPhone 6s, because 3D touch sounds like an intimate way to understand my phone. I sincerely hope for you with good faith - totally satiric Mr.

Very interestingly, Play Store developers can reply to comments actually left in comments. Despite these "poisonous" comments, we doubt that Apple will actually do so. For now, the app has a 706 5 star review compared to 2,736 1 star review. This app will not appear in the top download chart of the store category as well.

You can purchase the Move to iOS app for free at the Play Store. I hope Apple's iOS music port will get better reception later this year.

In addition to this highly anticipated update, we plan to release the first part of UX overhaul for Android and iOS applications. Version 0.0 of the Android application will be downloaded within a few hours, but due to Apple's application review policy, iOS users have to wait another 3-5 days. Version 0.0 contains changes to many screens in the application, and the remaining "old" screen is updated in January / February. We are convinced that these UI / UX changes will be endorsed by our frequent users - check it out!
