Apoplast is the outer part of the plant cell membrane. Apoplast has multiple functions in plant physiology and developmental stage. It functions as a barricade, and it is also a link between the atmosphere and protoplast. Apoplast is the main site where plants express proteins. Each of these proteins is physiologically important in apoplast and has a variety of roles that have an overall fundamental effect on plant cell function. The main objective of this thesis is to delay the formation of ice, increase the survival rate at freezing temperature, and determine the main function of apoplast protein in higher plants including cell growth and its growth.

What is this related to animal and plant proteins? So the main difference between these protein sources is the amount of essential amino acids they contain. The animal protein source is considered a complete protein source as it contains all the essential amino acids necessary for our body to function effectively. On the other hand, vegetable protein sources are usually thought to be incomplete as they lack one or more of these essential amino acids. For example, common vegetable protein sources contain low levels of methionine. Or tryptophan (to regulate our mood), lysine (to promote calcium absorption) or isoleucine (to provide energy)

Proteins containing all essential amino acids are said to be intact proteins. A good source of intact protein includes fish, meat, poultry, eggs, milk and cheese. Proteins lacking one or more essential amino acids are incomplete proteins. Peas, beans, lentils, nuts, cereals are sources of imperfect protein. Anyone with a meal that is mainly composed of corn and corn products is at risk of causing health problems. That is because corn lacks two essential amino acids, lysine and tryptophan.

Protein is an indispensable nutrient for healthy diet. All proteins are composed of structural units called amino acids, but not all the proteins in the diet contain all the necessary amino acids. Nutritionists classify proteins as essential or nonessential proteins and also believe that certain protein sources are of higher quality than others. In order to make all the proteins that your body needs, 22 kinds of amino acids are required as shown in the table below. 10 is considered necessary. In other words, it can not be synthesized in the body and you need to obtain them from food (arginine and histidine, only for children).

The complete protein contains all essential amino acids. Total protein contains all animal protein and soy. Incomplete proteins lack one or more essential amino acids. Beans, nuts, grains, vegetables are incomplete proteins. Previously, registered nutritionists and doctors recommended that vegetarians mix incomplete protein and food at the same meal in order to provide all necessary essential amino acids to the body. Today we know that this is unnecessary. Your body combines complementary or incomplete proteins that are being eaten on the same day.
