Apache Indian. Apache Indian belongs to the southern branch of the Athabascan group and their language constitutes a large family with spokesmen in Alaska, western Canada and the southwestern United States of America. Several branches of the Apache tribe occupy the area from the Arkansas River to the northern part of Mexico, and from Central Texas to Central Arizona.
