Antonio Da Correggio: A Renaissance Artist

A woman with Jesus on her knees was unbelievable because he could not handle what happened. The man who came down from the ladder swung his head, but since he had to remove Jesus from the crucifixion, he was confused and afraid. Correggio also depicted Jesus as a character of inanimate objects and emphasized that there was no life after suffering from painful death. Correggio's intention is to make the audience feel the emotions depicted in the picture. He wishes that the audience can feel the feelings of people.

Antonio Allegri da Correggio born in 1489 is an Italian artist related to the Renaissance. His work is one of the most famous works of the 16th century. His work is known for his dramatic theme and vitality. His work is also famous for its sexy nature. As a less well-known revolutionary artist, he influenced future artists. His most famous works include "The Adoration of the Magi" (1516-1518), "St. Catherine's Mysterious Marriage" (1526-1527), "Leda with the Swan" (1531-1532).

Another important artist working in high Renaissance style is painter Antonio Da Correggio. His greatest work is murals painted on the ceiling of the dome of Palma Cathedral, Assumption of the Virgin (1526 - 30). This picture is a masterpiece of perspective with lots of distorted and rotating people that seems to be in heaven. This work is looking forward to the Baroque style of the next century. Venice has developed an independent style of painting. The painter of Venice was the first Italian who worked with medium-sized oil imported from Scandinavia. Other Italian artists use a mixture of oil and egg protein. Artists in Florence and Rome emphasize the line, but Venetian artists like to draw color and light effects. They use colors and shadows instead of lines to define shapes in their paintings.

The artist is Leonardo Da Vinci. He was born in Vinci of Italy on 15th April 1452. A famous artist passed away on 2 May 1519 in Amboise, France. While he was still alive he was part of the Renaissance art style. I decided to choose Da Vinci because I know little about the history of art, but as Leonardo da Vinci is very prominent for everyone, I am the most influential artist in history I think that it is interesting to know one of them. When Leonardo was born to his father, Piero Fruosino di Antonio da Vinci took over.
