Abstract: In the article "Portrait of a hungry artist", the author Emily Trosianco recorded her struggle against anorexia. When she began to suffer from this illness, Troscianko could not imagine life without it. For her, anorexia feels like her best friend. Without this "friend", she did not want to live. She is enthusiastic about restraining starvation and she likes the power she gives. Troscianko starts at the end of her story. The reason why she finally overcame anorexia. She began saying that her anorexia was not popular in this new home when her mother wanted to move to her new house with her partner.

Anorexia is truly misnomer. Anorexia means anorexia. People with anorexia nervosa feel hungry, people who fight hunger receive rewards. Their life is food-oriented, avoiding eating. Anorexia becomes extreme to avoid weight gain. It may cause vomiting, diuretic, laxative, or exercise. Many other physical changes are common in women with anorexia, including amenorrhea (outage period), fetal hair (body extra hair, especially face) and bradycardia (heart disease)
