Anne Bradstreet Biography

Anne Brad Streit was the first American poet from the UK. She was the first female writer who published poetry at the New Colony of the United States of America. Her father, Thomas Dudley, was a manager of Earl Lincoln in England. In 1628, Ann married Simon Blood Streat. In 1630, both families visited the US on a boat "Arabella". The voyage lasted three months. In the New World, her father became governor of the Massachusetts colony, later replaced by Anne's husband. Ann has a bad physical condition and experiences a difficult journey.

Charlotte Gordon's latest work, a double biography "Romantic Water Space: Extraordinary Life of Mary Walstone Craft" and Mary Sherry (2015) received the national book review award. She also published a biography of Brastrite's hostess Anne Brad Streit.

Anne Brad Streit was reluctant in the US of Puritan who emigrated from beloved England in the 17th century. She became the first poet in America, and a new biography detailed her life. Seventy days after the sea, Captain Milburn drove his ship Abela full of exhausted souls with more than 300 hunger, entered Salem Port and shot a cannon. This is the early morning of June 12, 1630. In the United States this date is more important than the famous 1492, but they were disappointed if the captain or his unhappy passenger expected great publicity in the new world itself.

Anne Bradstreet was born in 1612 in Anne Dudley in Northamptonshire, England. She is married to Simon Bradstreet, a 16 year old Cambridge university graduate. Two years later, Brad Streets emigrated to America with the husband and parents with the Winthrop Puritan group who settled in Ipswich, Massachusetts to immigrate to the United States. Brad Streit and her husband raised eight children and she became one of the first poets to write English poems in American colonies. Around this time, Bradsterry had many poems that would be brought to Britain by brother-in-law, reportedly without her knowledge, and in 1650 she was the "tenth museum" . The issue of name recently appeared in the United States.
