One of the reasons I like small presses is that the author seizes the opportunity to write writers outside the mainstream. From the end of my acceptance and full enjoyment of the vampire Christ, publishing is one of my favorite source of liberal anarchie fiction and science fiction. Many people who read Orwell's classics do not treat it as a Soviet allegory, but miss the basic anti-authority information.
