The coordinated interdisciplinary approach establishes new non-pharmaceutical intervention designed to reduce pain and optimize changes in health behavior. Using the AAI paradigm, the following program building process is also applicable to other non-pharmacological interventions.
(1) establish the reliability for designating champions that are always present in the ICU and create systematic changes, (2) set up clear program objectives, 6 key success factors for project construction such as a) improvement of the mood of the patient, (b) improvement of participation in medical and rehabilitation, (c) reduction of perceived pain, (3) identification of potential barriers and possible benefits to overcome Relationship between risk management, hospital epidemiology and infection control personnel including milestones and measurable results (Table 1), (4) Identifying pet teams and trusting hospital environmental training teams such as Pet Partners We work with the organization we are getting. (Https://petpartners.org/) and Assistance Dogs International (https: // reachdogs international) .ORG); (5) (a) identify the goals of the plan and (b) outline all related plans (C) Outline of logistics of animal visit, (d) Identification of whether accident occurred, (e) Preparation of plan evaluation plan, (6) Probability of success without defects Patients starting from high patients, patients suffering from infections, or patients with established resistant microorganisms need to be exposed to precautionary measures to increase confidence and momentum. program
2. Provide training to the coordinator of AAI intervention to ensure recruitment / compliance
1. Please make sure the patient / family is suitable for access. Recommended questions when evaluating patient's AAI
It is one. Annual veterinary examination, detection of infections and stool parasites, latest vaccination required
It is one. Multi-drug resistant bacteria (eg, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), Clostridium-difficile or tuberculosis colonization or infection
I. Special Precautions: Animals visit only one patient or visit the last infected / established patient (approved by the Infection Control Authority)
The treated animals are "targeted interventions where animals that meet specific criteria are part of the treatment process. The animal intervention therapy is provided in various situations and may be a group or an individual" Animal intervention intervention .
Abstract: Animal adjuvant therapy (AAT) is a goal-oriented intervention involving placing qualified animals in the treatment environment of human patients. AAT is also an interdisciplinary collaboration model combining various health related fields such as veterinary medicine, animal behavior, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, education. Based on the concept of focusing on human and animal welfare, AAT provides a comprehensive alternative to human health. In this paper, we describe the development and present condition of animal treatment in Taiwan. It covers the development of human-animal relations, review, research, development of AAT literature, and the results of the current AAT system in Taiwan. We will also describe practical problems related to the AAT system through examples.
Animals are also used for treatments such as animal adjuvant therapy (AAT). In the words of the Delta Association, AAT is a "target-oriented intervention" that uses animal motives and rewards promoted by trained human experts to help patients with cognitive and physical improvement. For example, elderly patients with special nursing home may be given the task of grabbing dog collars or giving small foods to cats. By doing this, you can improve fine exercise ability. Set goals for patients and measure their progress
