In fact, Old English standardized at West Saxony and Old English succeeded by Alfred have a system of distortion of case, case and verb that is almost as complex and flexible as classical Latin. Under the continuing influence of the invasion of Scandinavia and Norman, there is a gap between old English and culture links, so-called dawn of Chinese and English studies almost collapsed. Norman Conqueror brought its own cultural heritage to the UK and gradually replaced the literary form and style of Anglo-Saxon.
