Angela Duckworth

Angela Duckworth is the founder and CEO of Character Lab, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the science and practice of personality development. She is also a professor of prominent psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, Christopher H. Browne, co-director of the Penn-Wharton Behavior Improvement Initiative and Co-Director of Wharton People Analytics.

2013 McArthur Fellow, Angela provides consulting services to the White House, World Bank, NBA, NFL teams and CEOs of Fortune 500.

Prior to her study, Angela was explained as a case study at Harvard Kennedy School and founded a summer school for low-income children celebrating the 25 th anniversary of the 2018 founding. She is also a New York City, San Francisco, Philadelphia Public School McKinsey Management Consultant and Mathematics and Science Teacher.

Angela has a bachelor's degree in Advanced Neurobiology from Harvard University and graduated with honors. With the support of Marshall Scholarship, she completed a master's degree in Neuroscience from Oxford University. She obtained a doctorate in psychology from the National Science Foundation of the University of Pennsylvania.

Angela has won numerous awards for its contribution to K-12 education, including the KIPP Foundation 's Beyond Z Award. Angela's TED consultation is one of the most talked about in history. Her first book, "Grit: Passion and Perseverance" is the New York Times bestseller.
