Andrew Carne was born in Dunfermline, Scotland on November 25, 1835. In 1848, he emigrated to America. After a series of useful investments, he devoted his energy to steel. Carnegie was the founder of Carnegie Steel, later named the American Steel Company. He founded one of the most powerful and influential companies in American history. His great innovation is to provide inexpensive and efficient railway production to railroad lines. He is also known for donating the majority of his wealth by building libraries, schools and universities all over the world. Andrew Carne died on 11th August 1919 at Lennox, Massachusetts.
