This symbol is found in Osiris Temple of Abidos, Egypt, the Forbidden City of Beijing in China, and many other holy places all over the world.

For ancient Slavs, the Russian doll is a symbol of the birth of mother and nature, and that is why it has a woman who bends the shape that expresses the ancient symbol of human culture. However, in ancient Russian tradition, ancient people believed that evil spirits could settle on them, so every doll did not have a picture and did not represent a person. Traditionally, the newborn Russian dolls are given to newly born people, hoping they will live a long and rich life. The first Russian nesting doll as a toy was produced by Vasily Zvyozdochkin by folk craftsmen of designer Sergey Malyutin, Abramtsevo in 1890. The predecessor of the Russian doll is thought to have come from Honshu, a Japanese island. This specially nested doll has the shape of a kind, old, large belly monk with a few small dolls in it.
