In theory, people can start almost anywhere, but the comparison between Indus Valley and Ancient China is a good choice for several reasons. Indus River civilization settlement area extends from the south to the Indian Arabian coast, from the west to the Iranian border, and from the north to the Himalayas. Harappa, Mohenjo-daro and Lothal are villages in major cities.
