In Unit 1, at the closing leading course of Le Morte d'Arthur, students wrote a constructive response to King Arthur's character's analysis. In their answer they explain "how his behavior reflects the heroes of other stories" and then "declare a feature that makes Arthur a typical hero." Poetry "passionate shepherds love him" and cooperative poem "fairy's response to the shepherd". In these two poems students are asked to analyze each poem separately and then to apply this understanding to the questions related to the two verses. This activity focuses on carefully reading the story poems. Using the techniques learned in this module, analyze the story poems, such as identification and interpretation of figurative devices in rhythms, instruments, images, and other poems. Next, write an article to analyze the language and structure of poetry. Your analysis will focus on the narrative structure of language and poetry. Written analysis also includes the specific domain vocabulary provided.
