This month, the Huggins Center will host an exciting new folk art exhibition with various creative works exhibited. "We are folk songs: exploring the traditions of the folk art in the south" # is currently open and scheduled to start broadcasting on 21st May. This southern folk art and Georgia ceramic art exhibition were curated by Steve Slotin and Michael A. Crocker. Slotin is the owner of the folk art department of the exhibition, the producer of folk programming, and the Botanese Slotin Art Auctions. Crocker was a curator of folk pottery in the exhibition and he took part in the establishment of Sautee Nacoochee's Northeast Georgian Folk Ceramics Museum, where he served as a coordinating curator. He is also a historian, collector and folk potter. Both curators loan the exhibits of the Haggens Center from individual collections.
