Analysis on the French Comedy Tartuffe

"Tartuffe Reaction Paper" I saw a comedy "Tartuffe" by French writer Jean-Baptiste Poquelin known for stage name Moliere. These characters are well presented to the audience and understand the purpose of everyone in the show. The two characters that made me most impressed were drin Maid and of course Tartuff. The energy that both are absolutely incredible, and I think that everyone in the audience received the correct information sent by the actors.

Tartuf is one of the most famous comedies of French playwright Molière. The play is a story of a wealthy Frenchman, Orgon who showed his religion and enthusiasm but accepted Tartuff who actually turned into a hypocrite. In spite of family warnings, Orgon completely abandoned his family to protect his Tartuffe. Meanwhile, the script was written and played for the first time, and many people enjoyed the show with King Louis XIV.

Around the era of Tartuf's writing, the 17th century was considered to be the period of extreme power of the French monarchy. King Louis 14 and Cardinal Richelieu changed the French feudal monarchy to absolute monarchy.
