Analysis of Two Research Papers on Identity Construction

In this thesis there are two papers to study the same composition by language practice and spatial movement across boundaries. The research completed by the first article, De Fina (2013), focuses on the top-down and bottom-up strategies embodied in building participant identity. In her introduction, she emphasized that these identities are constantly being negotiated as people interact with the surroundings.

This article explores the process of identity and subject construction. Judith Butler's work focuses primarily on sexual identity but I believe that the interaction of her dialogue language structure, performance, norms and humility is as important as understanding race think. In particular, it opens the possibility to understand constructive and profound racial identity. It is this combination that is indicated by Obama 's speech "Perfect Alliance". As Vikki Bell said:

Construction All gender considerations do not rely on women's analysis, nor should they be related to male and female expectations and identities. Gender is understood as a social building assumption assigned to the body of a man or woman - what is considered appropriate behavior - behavior of male (male) or "female" (female). Masculinity is often related to reasons, power, independence, and public domain. The temperament of women is often related to irrationality, protection, family, individual spheres. These social and political gender identities, as a theoretical IR and as a practice of global politics, form and influence global exchanges - and that such gender identity, what people should do, and I will create a reason for that. Men are women, men are women, but both men and women need to be male.
