In 'One hour story', Kate Chopin tells the story of a woman whose husband is dead. Through the story Chopin explained the feelings felt by Mrs. Marad about the death of Mrs. Chopin. But the strong feeling she felt is not despair or sorrow, but other things. In a sense, she is more secure than she is angry. And she is almost pleased when she thinks her husband is no longer alive. Chopin used this literary element through the story, and Chopin told us this many times.
