Analysis of the Film The Power of A Clockwork Orange by Stanley Kubrick

Clockwork Orange (1971) helped create Stanley Kubrick as one of the most innovative filmmakers ever. For him, the movie must be a work of art, art itself exists. This movie has no goal beyond its pleasure. Given that theme - political corruption, hedonism, violence, ethical recognition - people even even point to A Clockwork Orange as a nihilistic film of shape and content. Clockwork Orange was a 1971 anti-utopian criminal movie, adapted and produced by Stanley Kubrick, adapted from Anthony Burgess' s 1962 novel of the same name. The story of young thugs who are satisfied with their favorite things is called "super violence". The film is controversial in the UK and critics who wish to ban it have accused it of beautifying it and eventually promoting violence. Young people dressed as hooligans seem to confirm that accusation, but of course it is one thing to imitate costumes, imitation is another.
