"The problem of causing a form of poetry to die is always the destruction of poetry." Yvor Winters is a modern poet, but he is a traditionalist. Poetry is a beautiful art If you master it properly, you can dig a beautiful emotion from the reader. The correct form, structure, grammar, and prosody are all elements of traditional poetry, but in my opinion they are all elements of a beautiful poem.
