In this paper, we will discuss solid waste management of Cariacica-ES furniture company. First, using bibliographic materials, we will obtain information on the region's furniture industry, including Venezuela International Trade Co., Ltd. (AMOVEL), in cooperation with Peru's municipal company (SEDETUR) of the local government de Cariacica in Peru. Then I chose a woodworking workshop for analysis. After that, through technical interviews and interviews with corporate coordinators, information on the furniture manufacturing process focused on the use of raw materials and supplies, the occurrence of solid waste, the existence of clean production technology, the environmental permits and the environmental management system was collected It was. Finally, even in companies with multiple clean production technologies, a large amount of solid waste was generated throughout the production chain, the loss rate of raw materials exceeded 20%, initially estimated to be 10%. As a result, we propose an alternative plan based on the concept of cleaner production in order to more effectively utilize and process solid waste generated.

Solid waste management analysis and improvement proposal: Cariacica-ES carpentry case study

In this report, we analyze the current practice and improvement possibilities of solid waste management in the US theme park.
