Analysis of Nathaniel Hawthorne, Edgar Allen Poe, and Walt Whitman's Works

Analysis of Nathaniel Hawthorne, Edgar Allen Poe, Walter Whitman 's work Of all the great writers and poets I have learned this semester I have chosen my personal favorite reading 3. Works; Nathaniel Hawthorne, Edgar Allen Poe, Walt Whitman. These three authors stand out in the rest and bring new respect to American writers and writers. So far, most of the literature comes from European writers.

Optimistically, there are writers such as Walt Whitman, Margaret Fuller, Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson. Pessimistic writers include Edgar Allen Poe, Herman Melville and Nathaniel Hawthorne. Edgar Allan Poe is a very dark romanticist and a very pessimistic writer, but in a philosophical sense. He wrote poetry, novels and essays through his writing career and developed a style of Southern Gothic writing. His poetry often paints despairing characters, and he often explores the state of mind.

Early in the nineteenth century, transcendence was an American literary, political and philosophical movement inspired by the romanticism of Britain and Germany. Edgar Allen Poe and Nathaniel Hawthorne's composition style are not fickle. Gothic literature, writing style of Po and Hawthorne is a strange writing style that includes a supernatural, dead, unforgettable element that gives readers an ominous premonition. Slopes often like to explore the darkness of the human heart. The slope uses death, torture, loss, pain, pain, and supernatural things to convey through his work. He proved this with a short story "Pit and Pendulum" and "Ligeria." Although the two stories are completely different, the first story tells a hole like hell, the other represents the pain of losing a supernatural returning loved one, and he still expresses the same implications.

Gothic literature usually includes mysteries, fears, violence, grotesque events. The two most famous authors that make up the Gothic short story are Edgar Allenpau and Nathaniel Hawthorne. While Hawthorne focuses on the dark side of the heart, Poe tends to write down the dark side of the heart. But their story is very similar, both stories are composed of women like dark romanticism and angels. In the short story, "Young Goodman Brown" Hawthorne adventures us through adventure through the forest and tells those who try to find his true self like a devilish personality. Then, in the "minister 's black veil" he told the minister that we are wearing a black veil. And it let him depart from the people of the town and his loved ones.
