The poet "The Papa's Waltz" by the lecturer Theodore Rosque reflects his childhood memories that he shared with his father. In this poem there are two different interpretations and theories about the relationship between the speaker and his father. People like me regard it as a love relationship between my father and my son. Other people think that it is full of hints suggesting an abusive relationship between my father and my son. There are some examples in this poem that will help the theoretical meaning of this poem.
