Analyzing the love of Janette Oke, I read that the love of Janette Oke came gently with the book I read. She and her new husband, Krem, go to the West and find their land so that they can begin their lives. But when they lived there, Krem died and Marty is now a widow. Clark was also a husband so Marty eventually married Clark Davis. Marty finally found her true love for Clark. The main character of this book is Marty (Davis), Clark Davis, Miss Davis. Mr. Marty is a widow who married Clark, as Clark wants his child, his wife and mother for Missy.
This story shows us two main characters, beautiful young cousins Laura and Janet. When Janet pursued a career as a writer and activist, Laura got married. The title seems to refer to the two marriage proposals opened by the heroine 's story, but it may also be two different choices made by each woman. Laura is married to a man with no departure, depressed, also drunk and gambler. She blames a child of premature infant all. Laura lacked her husband's love and affection, painfully lost the baby, failed to feed wisdom and talent, and Laura died for disappointment. Janet's broken heart before marriage, but pursuing his own crafts and chose to work for slave and poor people. This story ends in Janet as an elderly, fulfilling woman whose life has always been for mankind.
It is in line with Janette Alston and Laura Lagrange. As she thinks that women are the only viable way to survive, she does not have so many options, so Laura Lagrange represents a woman related to the old order. She received two marriage proposals and was unable to make a decision between them. Her cousin, Janet Alston, "A woman who has not decided between the two proposals does not have enough love to make a choice." (106). Harper's remark here focuses on buying and selling through self-action to make a prostitute for a woman who accepts such a proposal. Janet pointed out that mistakenly motivated marriages are only women who are selling themselves for self-protection. Janet asked her immediately if this fate represents the worst situation for her. But Janet's history is incompatible with Laura's theory.
