In the summer of 1945 Ralph Ellison (Ralph Ellison) wrote the book "Transparent Human" (Transparent Human) who was a merchant Marine Corps sick. "Invisible man" is described in the first person by an unknown African-American who believes it is invisible to society. This character is perceived and may be inspired by Ellison himself.
