Homeward Bound - Toronto, Ontario Homeward Bound is a four-year program for single mothers at the Woodgreen Community Center. It provides affordable housing, child care, education, life skills and employment for women living in poverty and / or homelessness. Homeward Bound is divided into 4 stages. When a woman first participates in the program, the woman enters the facility and cooperates with the case manager to adapt to the new life. At this stage you need to improve your English and math skills as you participate in the Life Skill Workshop and many mothers are new Canadians or have not attended school for a while. In the second stage, women acquire a university degree and tuition fees are paid.
