Analyse at Least Two Recently Proposed Solutions to the Problem of E-Waste in Order to Determine Which is the Most Effective

The 21st century is often defined as the age of modern information technology (IT). In recent decades, advanced technology and innovation took a big step. Due to the large number of new and improved electronic devices, daily electronic devices are outdated. This is an unstoppable process called progress, and as new gadgets evolve and evolve, older electronics become useless and obsolete. However, with the development and expansion of modern technology, the number of outdated and obsolete electronics (also known as electronic waste) is increasing.

The trend in modern waste shows that electronic waste is the fastest growing waste stream in the world today. According to the latest United Nations University report, world electronic waste reaches 41.8 million tons in 2014, and it is predicted recently that production will reach 49.8 million tons in 2018. There are many reasons for this trend, but the two are recognized as the center. Smartphones have greatly increased the amount of electronic waste generated annually. According to a recent article by Spectrum, in the United States alone, about 183 million smartphones were sold in 2016. Combined with the fact that about 50% of the world's users including the United States can talk on a phone less than a year, the countless e-wastes mentioned above have become meaningful.

While developing mainly on two proposed short-term solutions, Segwit and Segwit 2 x, there was a lot of discussion on how to solve this scaling problem these days. Throughout this article, I discuss these solutions at a high level and discuss today how we will deal with the issue of bit coin expansion.
