In a practical living space, children can find materials and exercises in everyday life, such as pouring water from kettle and learning how to tie shoelaces. These activities will help the child take care of himself, so he can feel that he is self-reliant and does not need to rely on adults to meet his basic needs.

The purpose and purpose of practicing life is to help children gain control when adjusting their movements and to help the children adapt to society with independence.

Practical Life Exercises can be divided into 4 groups: Self-Care and Environment, Development of Social Skills (Grace and Courtesy), Classroom Etiquette and Motion Control

Children learn to care and maintain everyday life by looking after self-activities and environmental activities. For example, these activities include washing hands, cleaning the table, or cleaning the outdoors.

In practicing the development of social skills (grace and courtesy), children work in interaction among people.

Classroom etiquette helps children understand the basic rules of school and enables children to live in harmony with their colleagues and teachers.

In motor control, children learn their own movements and learn how to improve coordination skills through activities such as routing, cutting, folding.

Teachers can introduce practical daily activities using various kinds of presentations. The first one is to introduce one-time group to children. This includes correct table manners, a way to disturb other people, a way to talk with internal voices, and a way to turn over books. Another way is to introduce the group to the children. The final way of referrals is for individuals and gives only one child at a time. Montessori believes that the prepared environment is directly related to child development. The classroom is an area specially designed for children. There are a wide variety of sports and activities, all of which cooperate through academic disciplines. Montessori also believes in the importance of aesthetically pleasing classrooms. Children respond well to the beauty, order and quality of the environment

Practical living activities are activities in everyday life, including every aspect of life. Children observe these activities in the environment and gain knowledge through real-world experience on how to achieve life skills intentionally. These activities are inherently cultural and specific to the child's time and place. Practical living activities help children to acquire presence and belonging awareness by participating in daily life with us. Through real life, children understand everything about their culture and human beings. Generally speaking, activities in real life expand on four aspects.
