An Ilustration of the Concept of Virtue in the Nicomachean Ethics

Virtue is a concept that can not be easily explained: it embodies many different attributes and depends on many variables like social background, historical era, and religion. Aristotle gave his explanation of virtue in his moral system and explained it as a way to achieve the best life. The purpose of this paper is to describe the concept of virtue in Nicole's ethics in detail, but before that two norms are needed. The word used by Aristotle is usually translated as "virtue" and "arete".

Because Nicomachean Ethics depends greatly on the concept of virtue, we have increased our understanding of ethics called ethics. The words we translate into virtues are synonyms and they are also translated as "excellence". If that goes well, that is something. For example, good riders have the advantage of good handling of horses, high quality tools have sharp benefits. For Greeks, there is no essential difference between moral virtue and other kinds of excellence. Greeks do not have the unique moral concept of having a sacred and responsible association like ours. Moral virtue is only a matter of good performance as a function of human beings. For Greeks, good motivation is not based on sacred legislators or a series of moral considerations, but based on the same efforts to pursue excellence that athletes may enable them to train hard .

Aristotle of Nikola ethics insists that all moral virtues are aimed at noble morals. To establish his definition of aristocracy, Aristotle took the courage virtue as an example. The purpose of this virtue is a nobility, a common interest, and this noble purpose is achieved by the courageous actions of the brave people. There is a direct relationship between kindness and affection. - Moral "What do we like, what must we do?" As a human being, we face many decisions in our life. I believe that other animals will make decisions, but as a human being we consider their values ​​and ethics.
