An Analysis of The Painted Door by Sinclair Ross

I think there is a sea near the grassland. In pg 48, the scenery of the meadow seemed to be alive and I felt it was uncomfortable. It also tells us whether the farm will exacerbate this situation. The same page is talking about fire. It happens in the winter and may be somewhere in December.

These sarcastic examples have dramatically influenced this short story. Ross Sinclair's short story "The Painted Door" was written in the Saskatchewan province with a heavy snowstorm in the 1930s. Anne and Steven were the cause of Johns' death because of the loneliness of the farmer's wife and the lack of influence of her neighbor or her. The irony of this short story is that it can not have such a tragic and dramatic conclusion.

Sinclair's short story "Gate of Painting" is about an unhappy couple who makes a living on an isolated farm. John 's lonely wife Ann was fascinated by her husband' s friend Steven. The responsibility of her husband's death is usually due to security, but John is partially responsible for the tragic end of this story. Anne is hesitating about her relationship with John. She wants to go home with her, but I believe she is dishonest. Ann criticized John 's decision to visit his father during the storm. She used this assumption as an excuse for her adultery. Ann is an assessment of John's appearance, and I hope he shaves before leaving home. John insisted that "This is just a stephen" (368), he has seen him dirty.

The short story of Sinclair Ross The Painted Door was held on an isolated farm during the Great Depression. Because of the bad snowstorm, this story made isolation even worse. Anne's husband, John was encouraged by the weather to visit his father to make her alone, but he stopped telling Stephen and his wife to play cards.
