After he finished his creation he was afraid to discover that he was creating a monster. Monster is the most ugly and disgusting creature he has ever seen. As Victor was very miserable about his creation, he even thought about even suicide: "I really want to jump into a quiet lake, and water may close me and my disaster forever "His extreme pursuit of his knowledge proved to be negative as the idea he created gave him a life of his own.
