An Alternative Means to Intelligence

As an alternative to intelligence through cognitive science, computer science, psychology, there is something of a potential problem, ie the qualification of intellectual behavior. Allen Newell and Herbert A. Simon suggested that there is a necessary and sufficient means of intelligent action for the physical symbol system. This is a view shared by many other celebrities in various fields. What I want to do in this article is to provide an alternative to attribution to intellectual behavior.

Let's first define a technical term. Since artificial intelligence ("AI") refers to a platform used in environments with multiple choices, some learning and analysis is required to achieve the desired result. For example, compare a calculator with an automatic board player. The calculator will produce the correct answer for several mathematical equations. An automatic chess player MUST generate the next action based on the previous game. It has to learn the rules of the game, develop the strategy, and move on the basis of intelligence. Players are called "artificial intelligence" because they are automated (that is, robots) and are intellectual (that is, you can learn and play with even unlimited strategies to implement).

Artificial intelligence is a machine function, usually a computer program used to indicate intellectual behavior. In this case, intelligence means the ability to achieve targets in various environments or situations occurring all over the world. Therefore, in computer science, the field of AI is research to design such an intelligent system. Based on the definition of this technology, AI does not need the ability to learn. In the most extreme case, all intelligent behavior in the machine can be hard-coded directly by the programmer. As long as the preset algorithm allows it to achieve its goals, the machine can still comply with the AI ​​definition. Many current AI systems are actually rule based system types and engineers can provide all intelligence to the system.
