Q: At our high school, I reexamined the electronic use policy recently. The principal assistant and I agree that our policy of not using electronic equipment during class hours contradicts social norms. Therefore, on the first day of the grade, students are obliged to use their mobile phones and other equipment responsibly. While actually examining this change, we will continue to ask questions. What is the best policy for mobile access? How do parents see this problem? What are the benefits of education?

A: At our school we confiscate the "looked" or "heard" phone and keep it for our parents. We soon realized that students may need a phone to respond to emergencies or contact parents. Punishment (and possibly resulting) seems not to be suitable for crime

We think this is not a fight, we will "legalize" the phone. If the call is interrupted now, it will be treated as another interruption. After all, for our students (and for us), the mobile phone is a substantial accessory - an essential communication tool, not necessarily destructive than a student with a pencil.

The disaster went away as we reconsidered our policy. The structure of our school has not collapsed and the educational process has not been affected. We now have more time to focus on education and learning.

This summer, we also started to question our mobile phone policy. We believe that education will be received in any other part of society when the phone is used properly and improperly. For example, church worship usually reminds me to mute all phones first. We understand that our students need to be taught to use it properly. Although use in the classroom is still prohibited now, it is permitted in the cafeteria and corridors. When the student enters the classroom, a notice about appropriate usage will be displayed. We look at the reduction of disorder related electronics and parents welcome this more relaxed policy.

We allow students to have mobile phones, but they ask them to make their mobile phones "invisible, do not care" during class. Allow other format technologies to be used outside the classroom, such as MP3 players. Students understand and respect this policy

We have received many practical exercises with learner teachers (and their parents) in the 21st century - how to use student owned technology as an educational tool in the classroom etc. In this way, we can emphasize the responsible use of technology by students. The benefits of education are worth noting, we really have no choice but to develop in this direction.

Every month, among colleagues, practitioners learn from their own experiences and share proposals for the challenges faced by their colleagues.

Mobile phones are becoming increasingly popular among young people in their teens, and school administrators are questioning whether students should allow their phones to be used in the classroom. Before the spread of mobile phones, school administrators were most concerned about the possibility of drug trafficking, but as the penetration rate of mobile phones got worse, people are concerned about inappropriate use and distraction became. In the early 1990s the province began to ban the use of mobile phones and pagers at school.

Should the phone be allowed to go to school? In the 2010 survey by Pew Research Center, despite the possibility of prohibition, 65% of teenagers of cell phones found that they were sending their phone to school. Most schools currently allow students to use their mobile phones, but since they are devastating and distracting, I ask them to close in class. Should students be allowed to use mobile phones at school? In my opinion, children should be allowed to use mobile devices at school. Many parents want to know whether their children can go home and return home by cell phone. I think they can have a cell phone, but they can not use it in class. In my opinion, if students use it for several good things, they should be able to use the phone at school!
