American Presence on German Culture

While using West Germany as the Federal Republic of Germany, they provided resources to restart West Germany while maintaining an important position. There is no American colony in any state of Germany. In the 1670s, the first major German immigrants arrived mainly in British colonies in Pennsylvania, New York State and Virginia. Even in the 19th century, the number of immigrants continued to increase significantly, with 8 million people coming from Germany. Between 1820 and 1870, more than 7.5 million German immigrants came to the USA - the population of the country has more than doubled. By 2010, the population has increased to 49.8 million immigrants, reflecting an increase of 6 million in the population since 2000.

At the 1990 US census, 58 million Americans claimed to be completely or part of a German family line. According to the 2005 American community survey, 50 million Americans have a German lineage. German-American occupies 17% of the US population and 26% of non-Hispanic whites. Among the four major regions of the United States, Germany has the central and western regions, the second largest number in the west and the third largest in the northeast. Germany is the best reporting line in 23 states and is one of the top five reports in each province except Maine State and Rhode Island.

For German Americans, the twentieth century is an era of growth and integration, the number has increased, their financial situation is more stable, and traditional American Americans have risen to a strong and superior position. But for German-American culture, the new century is an era of severe recession, and catastrophic blows have never fully recovered. The arrival of the First World War brought resistance to the American German culture. When the United States declared a war with Germany in 1917, anti-German emotions rose nationwide and German and American institutions were attacked. Although I hate some discrimination, cosmetics: school, food, street and town names are often changed and music written by Wagner and Mendelssohn is also deleted from concerts and weddings.
