American Politics: Major Network Media

Many celebrities such as Stephen Spielburg, Jamie Foxx, Tyler Perry, donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Democratic Party in a year. Often, the largest funding provider will dominate the decision-making process. Liberal and conservatives are very different in political beliefs. Liberalists believe in equality and support those who can not support themselves (Nikkin). Liberals also believe to tax high-level people to provide taxes to those who are less fortunate.

In the first presidential election where I (and my social media network) was able to vote, I knew that social media became a dominant force in American politics and changed political process. For several months before and after the presidential election in 2016, my news coverage almost completely filled posts, comments and videos about elections. I am not particularly interested in politics but I think that I am receiving good education on the actual contents of the candidate's assertion that if it is elected it will bring us a country. However, I rationally say that the majority of my acquaintances (and their people in the country) do not spend time understanding the specific economic, social and international policies and positions of each candidate can do. Instead, they open up their chosen social media platform and gain their political "education" by reading what their web publications are about.
